Integrating environmental themes into regional and educational content is a very important tool for our daily lives, as we are directly and indirectly involved in preservation interests. A preserved environment benefits the quality of life of the people who live in it. It was with this in mind that this collection was developed, through arduous geographical, scientific, historical and cultural research into cities in the Amazon region, seeking to understand and bring students closer to this reality.
