The collection on Afro-Brazilian Culture is an editorial project that values African roots in the formation of Brazilian identity, with an emphasis on the experiences and contributions of black populations in the Amazon Region and throughout the country.
With interdisciplinary approaches and accessible language, the books in the collection bring together themes such as ancestry, religiosity, orality, art, cuisine, quilombola territories, resistance and black protagonism.
